Third Edition 2016 Ischia 4 seasons summer 2016, A4 in quarterly version!

«Who loves Ischia tells it». A year and a half ago this phrase, simple and crucial, has become my editorial motto. It accompanies by firmly embracing another strong idea, and not too obvious: «In the Mediterranean scenery, the island’s light is unique and special».

Do not ask me to explain why, now: I like to repeat these statements by relying on intuition, and on a truth on the fly. Some terrific answers, moreover, will find here and there, browsing through this summer issue.
The keys of interpretation are manifold. Beginning with the fine style of Enzo Rando, master of ceremonies of images: offers us the rare visual / emotional objects to be read in a philosophical perspective. It’s like an exercise of cataloging of the suggestions, which joins article written exclusively for us by architect Lucia Beringer, owner of the Giardini Poseidon thermal park: is an example of deep sensitivity and Central European culture which is a poster of passion.

In the background, there is the echo of voices ranging from Ischia to the planet with their talents revealed to readers: the legendary artist of “typeface”, Foriano-American Tony Di Spigna; singer Marilisa Ungaro, who from Rome, evokes her insular sea of words and music; the chef, blogger and tech reporter Gianni Mattera, who collected in a volume his aerial electrocutions. In the middle there are amarcord stories.
Ultimately, there is an underlying game to which I invite you to attend: is that one of the decomposition of beauty. It is on the threshold of the world which is Ischia: you can go with open eyes, or exit holding breath, leaving the flexibility to thoughts of rebuilding their own pleasure. To paraphrase Peter Handke, it is an indoor and outdoor experience simultaneously. I find it unmissable.
