Too simple to call it the month of transgression. Hot sun and sun bathing bodies, nightlife and frantic parties, spalshes of tropical water; outbursts and amorous escapes, loud music, voices and faces continuosly intersect in meetings and promises; appointments that run up to a nostalgic echo of “summer is ending”.

So, through the marvelous exhibition of Gabriele Mattera and Raffaele Iacono, held at the Aragonese Castle, I was dazzled by a shock: in the settings of the works there is the representation of the “birth” of Ischia. But also the spiritual ‘re-birth’ and love in its purest form. And the double meaning is realized, there also is
the matter of writing.
