September 2017 by Ischia News & Events
Year 8, Issue 6
«Ischia, down but not out!»
This year, nature decided that summer for the island of Ischia had to close before time and unfortunately not in the best way ...
The earthquake that struck our island, in particular Casamicciola, was a demonstration that the power of nature is as wonderful as destructive and lacerating.
The green island, however, continues to shine even after the wounds that have bruised it. Its landscapes continue to shine even under a different light, darker but still alive!
Because Ischia is life, is color, light, beauty!
Beauty is the miraculous waters of Nitrodi, where body care is accompanied by that of the spirit.
Beauty is the sea of Ischia, an invaluable treasure of riches defined as ecological corridor for big cetaceans.
September marks the end of a fiery summer but the beginning of the quiet period after the storm. The mild climate reminds us of the two important festivals such as Santa Maria al monte and San Michele.
September in Ischia is also tradition as the usual appointment with Visiting wineries 2017, the event that Pro Loco Panza organizes with the aim of leading tourists and islanders through the most beautiful corners of the island.
Another important event is Ischia Safari, the great festival that Nino Di Costanzo and Pasquale Palamaro have imagined and wanted from the beginning as a tribute to the best Italian cuisine.
Ischia therefore starts from September, from the different air, the fresh one, the new one, that of starting again!
